Carolyn Roselle Masser, 93, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 14th, 2021 in Riverside, Ohio. She was born October 17, 1928, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Joseph and Blanche Crandall. She graduated from Grandview High School in Columbus, OH in 1946, and attended Ohio State University. Carolyn was a homemaker for many years and then worked as a kindergarten aide at Bethel Local Schools. She later worked at the Hallmark Card Shop in Fairborn, OH, and at the Wileswood Country Store at the Dayton International Airport. Carolyn spent a considerable amount of her retirement years in Tavares, FL. She was a sweet, gentle, and loving person who enjoyed international travel, playing “Pounce”, watching Ohio State football games, and spending time with her family.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; and sister Irene Williams. She is survived by her four children, daughter Debra Ouellette of Bristol, CT, son John (Rhonda) Masser of Loudon, TN, daughter Lisa (Bob) Allen of Riverside, OH, and son Kurt (Paula) Masser of Tipp City, OH; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 5:00-6:00 PM at Crossroad Church, 9903 W. National Road, New Carlisle, OH 45344. Memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM at the church with Pastor R.C. McDonald officiating. A dinner for family and friends will follow. Interment will be at Linwood Cemetery in Blaine, OH.
